With the party season nearly on top of us we all desire to refresh our Party Glamour Repertoires. About all of us are pressed for time and do not have hours or even an hour to do our make up. So I have gathered some useful tips for getting ready for that party or BBQ no matter how hurried you are.

Before you apply anything else, make sure your skin is well cleansed and moisturized. Do not even consider about just adding some more make up on top of what you have on. This will only take some time but the results will justify spending the time. Take your make up off; the make up remover wipes are perfect to remove make up. Clean your face with water, and then add moisturizer. You may find that the moisturizer you used in winter may be too heavy for summer season, especially if you are outdoors, so choose for an oil free moisturizer.

You must consider that your foundation is not a mask. Your foundation is planned to even out your skin tone and hide any blemishes, but most of all it have to look natural. Apply a foundation type that you get the easiest to apply in a hurry. If you find liquid foundations too fussy, choose for a powder foundation. Usually anything that can be applied with a make up sponge or a brush is quick and easy to use.

The Daring look exudes a remarkable confidence that will certainly be emphasized by bold shades like gray, dark purple, black, navy blue and brown. Generally, the Smokey-eyed look will be the best make up style to emphasize this. The Smokey-eyed look uses the blends of dark purple and black, black and gray, navy-blue or brown and black, to highlight the eyes, also adding a thick coat of mascara and an overall lining in the upper and lower lids, from corner to corner. This smudged look is done to fully highlight drama in the eye area and mute the rest of the colors on the face. So, you may use a slight peach cheek flush and nude lipstick to complete the overall bravado.

The Chic Look is fun, edgy and hip, typical for the ultimate party princess. It uses bright and loud colors like green, blue, hot pink and gold or silver. These colors are absolutely out to give a statement. And because these colors are critical for color coordination, one must take into thought good blending.
