Tips for Correct Eye Shapes
By using light the dark neutral eye shadows & pencil, it is possible to correct any eye shape problem. You must do this after putting on foundation & before going on to apply your actual eye color scheme.
1- HIGH-SET BROWS:
To underplay the lid area & minimize the space between brows & eyes, apply a pale shadow, such as mauve, from lashes to brows, then use a grey pencil to outline the eyes.
2- DEEP – SET EYES :
A’ wash ‘ of brick-colored shadow from lashes to brows ‘reduces’ the eye brow bones. An iridescent pearl grey pencil emphasizes lashes, which helps bring the eyes forward.
3-NARROW ALMOND EYES:
A gold color, blended from lashes to brows, highlights eye. A grey line along the eyelid crease is also needed. Use a black pencil to outline lashes & create an illusion of depth.
4-WIDE-SET EYES:
A frosted grey shadow, on the lids & smoothed high into the corners, helps drew eyes closer together. A darker grey pencil used pencil used to partially outline the lids helps to define the eyes; outline top & bottom lids, working from the outer corner & fading out as you reach the center.
6-Small close-set eyes:
Light brown shadow from lashes tie
brows ‘widens’ the lids. Use a dark liner just at the inner & outer corners.
7-SMALL WIDE-SET EYES:
Moss green smoothed on the lids & high into the corners bring eyes together. A black outline around the outer corners helps to define & enlarge the eyes.
8-PROMINENT EYELIDS:
Reverse the technique for prominent lids: apply beige shadow to the eyelid area, & brown shadow above- up to brows. Draw the thinnest eye line possible.
