Tandoori Chicken

INGREDIENTS

1 LARGE SOZE CHICKEN

(skined & cleaned)

10 CLOVES GARLIC

3 CM PIECE GINGER

6 GREEN CHILLIES

1 SMALL BUNCH CORIENDER LEAVES(optional)

1 ONION

23 CUP CURDS

1 TSP TURMERIC POWDER

SALT TO TASTE

1 TBSP BUTTER

1 1/2 GARAM MASALA POWDER

ONION RINGS FOR GARNISH

PREPRARATION

Wash & pat dry the chicken.

Grind the next 5 ingrediens finely.

Whip the curds and add the salt & turmeric pase to it.

Keep the chicken in a deep bowl & pour the curd mixture overit.

using a sharp pronged fork prick the chicken all over so that some of the liquid gose in the holes. Cover and keep aside in a cool place for 7-8 hours.

method

Skewer the chicken on aniron or steeel rod bake in a mode ately hot oven for 30-35 minutes or till brown annd cooked, basting occasionall with the chicken mrarinate left in he bowl.

To serve

Melt the butter and brush it all over the chicken. sprinkle garam masla over and serve ether whole or cut at the joints.  garnish with onion rings and mint chutney if dsired.
