Sweet Dish Recipe Phirni

INGREDIENTS:

1 LITRE MILK

1 1/2 TB SP GOOD QUALITY RICE

1/2 CUP WATER

1/2 CUP SUGER

1/2 TSP ROSE WATER OR A FEW DROPS KEWRA WATER

1TB SP RAISNS

SILVER KFOILS

PREPARATION:

Soak the rice in water for half an hour & then grind to a very fine paste, using the same water in which it was soaked & adding the rest of the water to it.

boil the milk till it is reduced to swell.

soak the reasins for 10 to15 minutes to swell.

slice the almonds lenthwise.

Method:

to the boiled milk add the sugar and the strained rice-milk and cook on medium fire, stirring continusly till the milk is thick and coats on the spoon. sprinkle rose water or kewra. add half the quantity of nuts and mix.

apply silver foil on top and garnish with the remaining nuts, chill and serve.
