Sea Food (Veal Scallops) Lopstors Recipes
YOU WILL NEED:
4 Veal steak
1 small onion
125g (4oz) mushroom
30g (1oz) butter
2 tsp flour
1/2 cup water
1/2 beef stock cube
salt, pepper
2 tsp cream
1*remove any fat from veal steaks, pound steaks out thinly. peel and finly chop onion: slice the mushrooms thinly.
2* melt butter in shallow pan, add veal steaks while butter is foaming . cook veal quickly 3 to 4 minutes, turning once remove from pan add chopped onion, cook 1 to 2 minutes. boil uncovers 15 seconds, then stir in flur mix well. remove from heat, stir in water and crumbled stock cube. return to heat, stir until sauce comes to boil?
4* return steaks to pan, add mushrooms, mix well. seas on sauce with salt & pepper. cover pan, simmer very gently 8 minutes then stir in cream, stir until heated though.
