Keema Matar Recipe

3 LARGE ONIONS

2 SPRING ONIONS

6 CLOVES GARLIC

3 CM PIECS FRESH GINGER

1 SMALL BUNCH CORIANDER LEAVES

2 MEDIUM TOMATOES

2 GREEN CHILLIES:

Chop separately the ingredients given.

1/2 kg mice meat

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp chilli powder

1/2 tsp garum masala

1/2 cup curds

1 1/2 tsp salt or to taste

2 tsp coriander powder

1 cupful shelled peas

4 tbsp ghee

preparation:

whip the curd.

Method:

Heat ghee, fry the onions, garlic & ginger till golden in colour.

Add mince-meat & salt. Cover pan & cook on a very slow fire till mince is half cook4d. Add chopped chilliea, tomotoes, curds, turmeric is half cooked. Add chopped chillies, tomoes, curd,turmeric chlli powder & spring onions. stir well copver & cook again till masala softens, and the mince is nearly cooked. sprinkle a little water if needed to soften the mince. add the peas & stir cook for 5 minutes put the lid & allow to simmer for another cook for 5 minutes. add coriander powder and garam masala. stir cook again till ghee separates and the peas are tender.
