Hand Care Tips – Professional Hands Care Tips
Of all beauty routines, the care of hands & feet has become the chore. This is a great pity when you think of the rewards, in terms of both comfort & appeal; the hands appeal to two senses – sight & touch. In some ways, hands are noticed as much as – & handled more than – faces; we wave good bye, we shake hands with each other, we hold hands – & so on.
TO KEEP HAND SUPPLE:
Spend a minute on massage at least once a day. Keep hands upright while working in the cream – to increase the blood flow from fingers. Swivel the thumb on each hand working in a dab of cream to each knuckle in turn; this helps enlarged knuckles & breaks down acid deposits. To loosen up fingers, massage the entire length of each finger in turn, from the base to the tip using the thumb & first finger each hand. One of the best quick exercises to promote hand circulation is as follows: press & rub the hands vigorously from right to left, while rotating the wrists.
Tips for Your Hands Nail Care:
A nail takes approximately 16 weeks to grow from root to tip, so miraculous overnight cures for nails cannot happen. The best policy is to aim for trouble-free nails always – by manicuring ‘little & often’. Always remove ‘old’ polish before manicure.
Weekly Manicure Routine Tips
1- File nails to a nice oval.
2- Massage in cuticle cream.
3-Soak nails for a few minutes in warm soapy water.
4- Scrub gently with a nail-brush to remove dirt.
5- Gently push back cuticles using a cuticle pusher, rubber end hoof stick or a manicure stick with the tip wrapped in a tiny piece of cotton wool.
6-Apply nail varnish, if liked.
