Change Your Style With Your HairStyle

Don’t demand the impossible from your hair and from your chosen style. Some types of hair just will not be coaxed in to particular styles. You consider the body and texture of your hair, your features and the over all shape of your face. For instance, the ideal hair style for a rectangular face involves an unruly or sides wept fringe and fullness at the sides, to give the illusion of width. You can achieve that with naturally curly hair or by perking straight hair, or if your hair is thick and there’s plenty of it, you can settle for a geometric cut with full side wept fringe. A hairdo with soft, rounded lines is flattering to a square face.

Hair Style for 35’s

Aim for medium or long hair rather than short up to the age of 35 or so; after that, think of softness instead of length – curls or waves will minimize your angular edges.

Round Face and Hair Style

A round face, with the greatest width at the cheeks, needs a hairdo with high and narrow lines. If style hair is short, go for a style which lengthens your face, keeping the crown rather high and the sides smooth and close to your head. A slanted fringe breaks up circular lines, and it’s a good idea to let your hair play out more fully at the neck to detract from the roundness.

Hair Style for Triangular Faces

A triangular face has a wide forehead and high cheekbones and tapers to a narrow chin. Ideally you should wear long, shoulder-bouncing style

styles to slim your forehead. Failing that, coax some width into the sides, or consider a perm, if necessary.

Medium Length Hair Cuts

Medium-length hair cut in a bob shape, slightly graduated, is absolutely right for anyone growing out a fringe. Brush the hair slightly away from the face at the sides, holding with clips if it won’t stay put naturally. This style is good for all face shapes, with the exception of long.

Long Hair Styles

Long hair becomes marvelously adaptable when it’s layered. Finger-drying contributes loose, natural movement to this style. To frame your face softly, curl hair all over or tong it at the edges.

Short Hair Styles

Short hair provides unexpected versatility. Clever cutting allows the hair to be brushed forwards or backwards, or to be swept up on either side. A total change of style can be achieved with each time or cut, but hair as short as this must be trimmed quite regularly, preferably once a month or no more than five weeks after the previous cut.

The secret of endless variety from a hairstyle lies in knowing what you can achieve with your particular hair type and its texture.
